After the long summer break, the kids are back to school next week. Are you ready to jump back into work and make the most of the last four months of the year to get you where you want to be?
The women I work with know I'm a big fan of 90-day action planning. Whether you're looking to discover a new career direction, make a smooth return to work after maternity leave, or start your own business, having a concrete plan in place will give you the focus and motivation to accomplish what you set out to achieve.
Why a 90-day plan? Because 90 days is long enough to make big things happen but also short enough to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
To develop your plan, follow these 3 simple steps:
1. Write down three big goals that you want to achieve in the next 90 days.
2. Put milestones in place for each of your three goals. Where do you need to be at 30 days and 60 days in order to reach your 90-day goals?
3. Write down the action steps you're going to take to reach each milestone. Set yourself deadlines for completing each task and mark them in your calendar. And don't forget to give yourself a pat on the back as you cross them off your things-to-do list!
Remember, even the smallest of actions will move you forward and can add up to BIG RESULTS!
