Career counselling gives you a reflective, supportive space to slow down, understand who you are now, and clarify what you want and need moving forward. It’s about self-understanding, insight, and reconnecting with yourself and with what matters to you as you consider and get clarity on your next step.
Who's it for
You might come to career counselling if you are:
Feeling stuck or uncertain about your next career step Wanting to make a change in your career but feel unsure about how to move forward.
Struggling with low confidence or self-doubt Facing blocks such as lack of motivation, imposter syndrome, or fear of taking next steps.
Lacking clarity on what drives or motivates you Looking for more meaning and purpose in your life and work.
Questioning your professional identity Wondering who you are now and what matters most to you.
Second-guessing your skills and abilities Unsure how to identify, own, or communicate your strengths and talents.
Caught in recurring patterns holding you back Experiencing recurring patterns in your life and career like taking on too much, avoiding career advancement opportunities, or self-doubt in high-pressure situations.
Struggling to balance work and life Your career and personal life are out of sync or you are looking for a career that fits your life, not just your job.
What it involves
Career counselling sessions are:
50 minutes of reflective, career-focused conversation
Flexible, booked session-by-session, typically weekly or fortnightly
Supported by exercises, questionnaires, and journaling prompts to deepen reflection, self-understanding and insight
Most people find that a series of 6–8 sessions provides enough time to reflect on who they are and what matters to them, gain insight, work through challenges, and clarify their next steps. Some clients find clarity in just a few sessions, while others benefit from continuing for longer as they explore their career direction. The pace and frequency of sessions can be adjusted to suit your preferences, and we’ll review your progress together as you go.
