Our Transitions Programme
Our Transitions Programme provides professional women with the critical support they need throughout the four distinct phases of the working parent lifecycle - preparing for leave, during leave, returning from leave and moving forward.
The programme enables women to fully explore and actively manage the transition, be effective in meeting the challenges it can create and maintain productivity and performance levels throughout the life-changing experience of becoming a mother.
Bringing together mothers from a range of organisations, from small and medium businesses to multi-national corporations, the programme is divided into the following 4 half-day modules:
'Pregnancy at work' - held around four months from participants’ planned maternity leave departure dates.
To provide pregnant employees with confidence through change, a supportive network and practical ways to prepare for their temporary exit from the business.
‘Maternity Leave' - held during the latter part of maternity leave.
To encourage new mothers to reconnect with work and colleagues in a safe, supportive environment and to begin to plan their return.
'Working Parents' - held during first 3 months back at work.
To support those employees who have recently returned from maternity leave to be able to confidently and quickly reintegrate into the workplace.
'Managing your Career' - held between first 6-9 months back at work.
To give employees an opportunity to reassess their career; to think about where they are heading, how they will get there, with key tools to support, especially around visibility, politics and networking.
We support employees in-house through pregnancy, maternity leave and on return to work; through our 1-1 maternity coaching and group workshops. We also offer a 3-hour workshop to equip your maternity mentors with the skills and confidence they need to effectively mentor someone through maternity.
We work with 'expectant', new and current father's in small groups and in larger, ‘auditorium-style’ presentations, with a key focus on issues relating to work/life balance.
One-to-one coaching can help talented individuals create the change the want and the results they aspire to. In a confidential and safe setting, our skilled and experienced coaches support senior working parents in dealing with major life transitions, developing strategies to make their work and life priorities work.
Training Seminars & Workshops
